random thoughts of: Learning

fun learning = productive learning

learning is not about reading books while slouching on your desk looking lazy and feeling bored or tortured.

learning is not about coming home from your classes, put a your best frown and blab your roommates about how stressful your life is (or how many workload you have) with your classes.

learning it is about exploring and acquiring knowledge.
and it is suppose to be enjoyable.
because it is an ibadah.
learning is to joy of learning as is solah to the sweetness of iman.
^_^
sounds geeky? yes, you bet i am!

random thoughts of: Value of Knowledge

knowledge is knowledge. be it a simple arithmetic between two integers or a witty laplace transformation of a unit step function.

regardless of how simple or how complicated,
knowledge is still is knowledge.
treat it equally. respect it justly.

random thoughts of: -things

after all this while i was in economics 101 class, i just realize that i learned something very important about life. something i should have known but did not. and at this moment, something i wish i knew earlier.

to do nothing actually does cost you something.

a new culinary innovation: mashed potato with alfredo sauce! yummy! i discover it last thursday, the day i made mashed potato for breakfast. i found that my roommates are not that into foreign cuisine so i decide to invite the remaining mashed potato to lunch, as the main course! lol. culinary is an art. i really envy those who are good at it.

random thoughts of: Love and Romance

love and romance are two different things

romance is only of the affair of two lovers
that often shrouded with desire and lust

love is one of the human essentials
that often built out of compassion and trust

love is platonic
and there is no such thing as a platonic romance

"i romance you"

could we start using this phrase?

because

"i love you"

seems to mean so much more

as so he did thought
